Weather & Climate in Gumusluk...
Summer
The climate is excellent in Gumusluk! There is usually six months non-stop sunshine (May - October) with not one drop of rain. The on-shore wind keeps Gumusluk cooler than the rest of Bodrum, windiest months are in May, June, September and October.
The winter is nice too but the temperature is obviously not as hot as the summer, the Turkish word for autumn explains it best: ‘Sonbahar’ (last spring).

Spring
The scent of
citrus blossoms fills the air, the hills and valleys are green with vegetation
and the cool, sunny days are ideal for hiking and sightseeing.
Autumn
Autumn begins
with the Bodrum Cup Yacht race held annually, every other year the hundred or so
stately wooden yachts under full canvas come into the
bay
of Gumusluk. The sea is still enticingly warm for swimming and it’s a pleasure
to visit historical and natural sites in the cool weather, the autumn is also a
great time for end-of-season sales!
Winter
Home to a
large international community, Bodrum celebrates both Christmas and New Year
with gusto; revellers from all over turkey make New Year’s Eve a memorable
"happening". The tangerine orchards line the side of the roads making for a
beautiful picture.
